K3Y Ltd proudly participated in the kick-off meeting for the Horizon Europe XTRUST-6G<\/a> Project, held at the premises of Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH)<\/em><\/strong><\/a> in Thessaloniki, Greece, on January 22nd and 23rd.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The meeting marked a significant milestone and an enthusiastic start to our journey toward a more secure future for 6G Networks. K3Y Ltd, as the project's Technical Manager, plays a key role in driving its technical direction and innovation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

XTRUST-6G aims to build a robust zero-trust security framework for 6G networks, ensuring resilience, privacy, and reliability. It will implement dynamic access control using AI-driven threat intelligence and behavioral insights, alongside micro-segmentation to prevent lateral attacks. Advanced intrusion detection, automated threat modeling, and blockchain-secured integration will enhance protection. Quantum-safe cryptography (QKD & PQC) and AI-driven security will safeguard data transmission, while privacy-preserving AI\/ML will ensure fairness, transparency, and energy efficiency. These measures will strengthen 6G infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During the meeting, our Head of R&D and Technical Manager of the project, Panagiotis Radoglou Grammatikis<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, introduced WP3: Unified Endpoint, Identity, and 6G Services Management. Led by our team, this work package comprises five research tasks aimed at enhancing security and management for endpoints, identities, and services in 6G networks.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition to leading WP3, K3Y leads several key tasks within the project. Task 1.6 focuses on clustering, awareness, and standardization activities, while Task 3.4 is dedicated to network micro-segmentation and trusted onboarding. Additionally, Task 5.1 advances cyber-deception and automated TTP extraction. Beyond these leadership roles, K3Y plays a pivotal role in Task 1.2, contributing significantly to technical management.<\/p>\n
