The meeting represented a major milestone in our collective journey toward next-generation adaptive robotics.<\/p>\n

Always at the cutting edge of technology, K3Y Ltd contributed valuable insights to discussions on developing a new generation of cognitive robots enhanced with generative AI models, capable of adapting to complex and changing tasks, with a particular focus on manipulating small, soft, and deformable objects, one of the most demanding challenges in robotics.<\/p>\n

During this two-day event, partners of the TORNADO consortium reviewed the progress achieved during the first eight months and planned the next steps regarding technical development, project management, innovation, communication, and impact assessment.<\/p>\n

The second day emphasized integration and collaboration, strengthening links between different technical work streams and partners, while showcasing the potential of TORNADO\u2019s robotics technologies in healthcare, logistics, and industrial automation, especially in applications involving delicate, deformable materials.<\/p>\n

K3Y Ltd was represented by our colleagues George Kalitsios<\/strong><\/em><\/a> and Evangelia Pantraki<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, who presented our ongoing work on leveraging explainable AI (XAI) to enhance transparency and trust in human\u2013robot collaboration. K3Y also lead the discussions on exploitation and sustainability, ensuring that TORNADO\u2019s results deliver real-world impact and long-term value.<\/p>\n
