On December 1-2, 2025, the XTRUST-6G<\/strong><\/a> consortium gathered at the University of Luxembourg<\/strong><\/em><\/a> for its 2nd Plenary Meeting. The two-day event brought together representatives from all 19 consortium partners, offering a valuable opportunity to review technical progress, align upcoming activities, and consolidate the roadmap toward extended zero-trust and intelligent security for resilient, quantum-safe 6G networks. The meeting also confirmed key next steps toward the project\u2019s upcoming mid-term milestones.<\/p>\n

Day 1 - Technical Progress and Work Package Updates<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first day was dedicated to in-depth technical discussions across the project\u2019s core work packages. Partners presented updates and exchanged views on key topics, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

- Requirements and overall system architecture for the 6G zero-trust framework<\/span><\/em>
\n- Unified management of endpoints, identities, and services<\/span><\/em>
\n- Privacy enablers and trusted AI\/ML techniques<\/span><\/em>
\n-\u00a0Advanced cyber-threat detection and incident response<\/span><\/em>
\n- Quantum-safe and physical-layer security approaches<\/em><\/p>\n

-\u00a0Cloud-native security and orchestration for 6G applications<\/span>
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

The day concluded with sessions on project management, dissemination activities, and exploitation planning.<\/p>\n

Day 2 - Integration Planning and Use Case Review<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The second day focused on system integration and demonstration planning. Partners aligned their strategies for integration activities, SMO-related developments, and ORAN interoperability.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nProgress across all five XTRUST-6G use cases was also reviewed, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

- Resilient 6G-enabled EV charging infrastructures<\/span><\/em>
\n- Secure 6G-connected autonomous mobility<\/span><\/em>
\n- Quantum key distribution for end-to-end 6G protection<\/span><\/em>
\n- Security for virtualised 6G environments<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

These discussions enabled partners to synchronise technical efforts and prepare the next phases of implementation and validation.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, our Head of R&D and Technical Manager of the project<\/span>, Panagiotis Radoglou Grammatikis<\/a><\/em>, led the discussions about the architecture and technical specifications of the project.<\/span><\/p>\n
