We are pleased to announce that K3Y Ltd successfully participated in the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the PiQASO<\/strong><\/a> project, held on 20\u201321 November in Athens and hosted by NETCOMPANY<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The two-day meeting brought together representatives from all the consortium partners and marked an important milestone as the project concluded its first year. The sessions provided a valuable opportunity to review progress, address technical and coordination challenges across all work packages, and jointly plan the next steps as the project advances toward its upcoming milestones. The meeting emphasised technical alignment, collaboration, and the shared commitment to delivering Post-Quantum Cryptography-as-a-Service for Europe\u2019s critical infrastructures.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the first day, discussions focused on the overall progress of the project, including updates on project coordination, technical management, and strategic planning. This was followed by a detailed review of the project\u2019s Use Cases, where workflow diagrams, architectural aspects, and planned integrations of PQC components were examined.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second day offered a comprehensive view of PiQASO<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s technical evolution. The agenda covered advancements in Post-Quantum Cryptosystems, including progress on functional encryption (ABE\/IBE), updateable encryption, and the PiQASO<\/strong><\/a> Reference Implementation. Further discussions highlighted integration and demonstration activities, with a focus on CI\/CD pipelines supporting the project\u2019s technical delivery. Presentations also addressed PQC Awareness and Academy development, migration planning, and updates on dissemination, standardisation, exploitation, and impact creation, highlighting how these activities contribute to the project\u2019s technical progress and upcoming milestones.<\/span><\/p>\n

K3Y Ltd, represented by our colleague Zacharenia Lekka,<\/strong><\/em><\/a> presented the latest updates from WP5 \u2013 PiQASO PQC Raising Knowledge and Awareness Academy & Migration Planning. The presentation highlighted the finalised version of the PiQASO Academy, which constitutes the main outcome of Task T5.1. The PiQASO Academy is a fully operational Learning Management System (LMS), designed to support knowledge dissemination and capacity building around Post-Quantum Cryptography, and is publicly accessible here<\/a>. In addition, updates from Task T5.2 focused on the project\u2019s open courses, as well as the launch of the PiQASO webinars, workshops, and guest speaker series, aimed at strengthening awareness and practical understanding of PQC migration strategies. The session also enabled an open exchange of feedback with consortium partners, fostering constructive discussions on potential improvements and future enhancements. Based on these exchanges, updated guidelines and indicative timelines were agreed upon, supporting the coordinated and smooth progression of WP5 activities in the coming period.<\/span><\/p>\n

PiQASO<\/strong><\/a> aims to deliver quantum-safe cryptography-as-a-service, enabling organisations to adopt Post-Quantum Cryptography without requiring specialised hardware. The project develops crypto-agile, standards-aligned PQC algorithms and integration tools, ensuring secure, future-proof encryption for Common Transmission Systems and a wide range of industrial infrastructures. Alongside technical innovations, PiQASO<\/strong><\/a> includes extensive demonstrations with real end-users to validate the solution in operational environments.<\/span><\/p>\n
