We are pleased to announce that K3Y Ltd participated in the 3rd Plenary Meeting of the European Defence Fund (EDF) Action Project SEQURED, held in Lisbon, Portugal, on 28-29 May 2026 and hosted by INESC-ID<\/a>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The two-day meeting brought together partners from across the consortium to review the progress achieved so far, discuss ongoing technical activities, and coordinate the next steps of the project. The meeting also included the M12 Progress Status Review with the Project Officer, providing an opportunity to assess the work completed during the project\u2019s first year and look ahead to the upcoming activities and milestones.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Throughout the meeting, partners shared updates from the different technical areas of SEQURED. Discussions covered Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), quantum-resistant communications and UAV applications, secure edge accelerators based on software\/hardware co-design, secure path establishment, and quantum-resistant ledger technologies. Updates on integration, evaluation, exploitation, and stakeholder engagement activities were also discussed.<\/p>\n

K3Y Ltd, represented by our colleagues Evangelia Pantraki<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and Ioannis Tsingalis<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, presented the progress of SEQURED Use Case 3, focusing on quantum-safe networking and its integration into 5G infrastructures. The updated use-case architecture, the technical scenarios under consideration, and the planned implementation and validation approach were outlined. K3Y also contributed to the discussions on testbed preparation, integration priorities, and the next steps towards demonstrating trusted and quantum-resistant communication in 5G networks.<\/p>\n
