The German Pilot Consortium, comprising Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OvGU)<\/a>, the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM)<\/a>, and Schmitz OneSeven GmbH<\/a>, achieved a remarkable milestone in the TREEADS<\/a> research project with groundbreaking fire tests. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation entitled \"European Forest Fire Research in Saxony-Anhalt-Real Fire Tests within the<\/em><\/span><\/span> TREEADS <\/em> project\"<\/em> was held on<\/span><\/span> September 28th, 2023.<\/span><\/span> After meticulous planning and coordination with local partners like the Flechtingen forestry office, the B\u00f6rde district, the Flechtingen municipality, and fire brigades, a comprehensive safety concept was adopted, ensuring permits were obtained for these pivotal tests. These tests hold immense significance for advancing the understanding of ground fires, smoke toxicity, and safe firefighting techniques.
