K3Y at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair with CIRCAT

October 12, 2026

We are excited to share that K3Y Ltd took part in the presentation of the CIRCAT project at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). CIRCAT was among the European cybersecurity projects showcased at the National Cybersecurity Authority of Greece’s booth, where members of our team helped introduce visitors to the project and its objectives.

A dedicated video presentation introduced CIRCAT and its work to improve the protection of critical infrastructure and large industrial installations against cyber threats. Visitors could also find printed material about the project at the booth.

CIRCAT brings together AI tools, continuous risk assessment and penetration testing to help organisations identify weaknesses and prepare for potential attacks. The project also supports cybersecurity training and exercises in a controlled Cyber Range environment, where teams can test their responses to realistic threats.

K3Y leads several activities within CIRCAT, including the design of penetration testing scenarios and the development of AI tools for identifying and assessing vulnerabilities. Its work also covers automated reporting to help security teams prioritise their responses and select suitable measures to address threats. Alongside these activities, K3Y leads the implementation of trustworthy and explainable AI, helping users understand how the tools reach their conclusions.

K3Y also leads the preparation of evaluation plans, support for third-party projects developing cyber threat services, and the project’s exploitation and sustainability strategy.

The presence of CIRCAT at TIF gave the K3Y team an opportunity to speak with visitors about the project and explain how its work can support cybersecurity preparedness in critical sectors.
