K3Y Ltd presented a paper at IEEE NFV-SDN 2025
K3Y Ltd is proud to share that the paper entitled "Jamming-Resilient Handover Triggering for Programmable 6G Radio Access Networks using Reinforcement Learning" was presented at the 11th IEEE Conference on Network Functions Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking (IEEE NFV-SDN 2025), held on 10-12 November 2025 in Athens, Greece.
The authors (George Ambonis, Panagiotis Radoglou Grammatikis, Antonios Sarigiannidis, Georgios Kakamoukas, Thomas Boufikos, Thomas Lagkas, Vasileios Argyriou, Theofano Kollatou and Panagiotis Sarigiannidis) introduce a 3GPP-conformant, AI-native handover triggering mechanism designed to enhance resilience in next-generation cellular systems. The system replaces fixed threshold logic with a learned policy to detect early indicators of RF jamming and initiates proactive handovers before link degradation occurs.
This work was developed in the context of the XTRUST-6G project.
The paper is available in IEEE Xplore.
