SALUS Kick-off Meeting
We are proud to announce K3Y Ltd’s participation in the successful SALUS project kick-off meeting, hosted by Hellenic Mediterranean University in Heraklion, Crete, on November 26th and 27th, 2025.
The meeting marked a significant milestone and an enthusiastic start to our journey toward strengthening security and resilience across IoT systems and critical infrastructures.

Over the two-day Kick-Off meeting, consortium partners aligned on the project’s objectives, structure, and next steps, establishing a strong foundation for the work ahead. Discussions focused on project management and coordination, the overall technical architecture, and the scope of the five use cases, ranging from connected mobility scenarios to the protection of critical and medical IoT systems. The meeting enabled partners to synchronise activities across all work packages and set the direction toward SALUS ’s upcoming milestones.

SALUS will address the rising security and forensic challenges of Internet of Things (IoT) and cyber-physical systems by empowering law enforcement authorities with advanced forensic investigation schemes, digital tools, and policies for lawful evidence acquisition, cyber-threat mitigation, and cross-agency collaboration. The project will integrate a Digital Twin–based infrastructure with a Software-Defined Network Security-as-a-Service (SDaaSS) backbone to enable real-time IoT monitoring, threat simulation, and dynamic policy enforcement. AI-driven and blockchain-based mechanisms will further enhance forensic integrity, transparency, and chain-of-custody management. SALUS will be validated through five pilot use cases involving police authorities and critical infrastructure providers, including hospitals and nuclear facilities.

Represented by our colleagues Eleftherios Kilaroglou and Marios Siganos, K3Y Ltd outlined the roadmap of T7.4 which consists of the exploitation management of SALUS , and contributed to valuable discussions on the secure-by-design infrastructure as well as on IoT threat intelligence and information sharing.

We’re excited to start this journey!
Stay tuned for updates and news as the SALUS project progresses.
