TREEADS project recently celebrated a significant milestone!
Under the context of the German pilot area, our colleagues from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU) concluded succesfully a reforestation project, which took place on the 1st of December 2023.
A substantial effort led to the planting of 560 trees, making a vital step towards rejuvenating a forest near the pilot test site. This concerted endeavor is geared towards laying the foundation for a resilient mixed forest that will flourish in the future. The vision is to cultivate a diverse ecosystem, fostering biodiversity and enhancing the overall ecological vitality of the region for generations to come.
