Project Manager

Job Description
K3Y is looking for a Project Manager who will play a key role in our team with respect to the management and implementation of Research & Development (R&D) projects in the context of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.

 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relative fields;

Proven experience in project management and team coordination;

Strong experience with European funding programmes (such as H2020, Horizon Europe, Digital, etc);

Experience with project management tools;

Problem-solving and efficient decision-making;

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

 

Desirable Qualifications

MSc or PhD degree in computer science or a relative field;

Experience with grant writing and proposals preparation;

Budget management experience;

Experience managing budget and finance components of complex projects throughout implementation, including compliance, monitoring and reporting processes

 

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and objectives;

Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules;

Lead the development of competitive project proposals by identifying funding opportunities, drafting applications, and ensuring alignment with EU funding requirements;

Preparation, editing and submission of technical reports and deliverables, ensuring that they adhere to quality standards;

Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution;

Technical reporting to Work Package leaders, Task leaders, Project Coordination Team and the European Commission;

Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients;

Implementing document control policies and documentation templates;

Participation in technical, plenary and review meetings;

Participation in events, conferences, workshops, industrial initiatives, exhibitions and standardisation bodies.
