SECASSURED Kick-off Meeting

Φεβρουάριος 27, 2026

K3Y Ltd proudly participated in the kick-off meeting of the SECASSURED project, held in Athens, Greece, on January 21–22, 2026. The event was hosted by PPC S.A.

The meeting marked a significant milestone and an exciting first step toward building resilient, trustworthy, and future-ready digital systems across the IoT-edge-cloud continuum. K3Y Ltd contributed to the discussions on advancing secure and intelligent digital infrastructures within the e-mobility domain, supporting the project’s broader objectives of resilience and trust.

The SECASSURED consortium officially launched the project during the kick-off meeting, bringing together all partners for the first time in person. The meeting was an important starting point for building a strong and effective collaboration. During the event, partners introduced their organisations, roles, and planned contributions to the project. The discussions focused on the project’s objectives, main activities, and the five use cases that will test and validate the developed solutions. The meeting helped ensure a common understanding among all partners and concluded with a clear plan for the next steps in the coming months.

The EU-funded SECASSURED project will develop a data-driven, AI-powered framework for assurance-driven security engineering, embedding security and compliance as continuous, adaptive processes across the entire development and operational lifecycle. By leveraging AI-driven assurance services, federated digital twins, and SecDevOps/MLOps pipelines, SECASSURED will enable secure integration, automated compliance, and proactive threat management across the IoT-edge-cloud continuum. The project will deliver virtual environments and a holistic toolbox for continuous security validation, strengthening software supply chains and enhancing the resilience and trustworthiness of critical digital infrastructures across multiple sectors.

During the meeting, our team actively contributed to discussions on the development of the secAssure4AI toolbox, which aims to enhance the security and trustworthiness of AI components. Within this framework, the K3Explainer tool developed by K3Y will support the relevant activities. In addition, K3Y supported the initial planning of UC5, which focuses on Smart Charging Stations. Within this use case, K3Y will provide reliable and resilient AI software, enabling actionable insights and optimisation of the EV charging infrastructure.

We’re excited to start this journey and contribute to building more resilient digital infrastructures.

Stay tuned for news and updates as the SECASSURED project moves forward.
