Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Description
K3Y is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who will play a key role in our team with respect to the development of networking and cybersecurity applications in the context of European R&D projects (Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects) and commercial activities.

 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field;

Strong proficiency in Python;

Strong experience with RESTful APIs and services;

Familiarity with asynchronous communication technologies such as Apache Kafka;

Familiarity with database systems like Elasticsearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc;

Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js;

Strong experience with version control systems like Git;

Strong experience in DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines);

Experience with agile development methodologies;

Familiarity with serverless architecture;

Excellent written and oral communication skills;

Good problem-solving skills.

 

Desirable Qualifications

MSc or PhD degree in cybersecurity or a relative field;

Experience with Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe Research and Development (R&D) projects;

 

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and modern front-end technologies;

Analysis of user requirements and define technical specifications;

Implementation of REST APIs and communication bus services using Apache Kafka and similar technologies;

Containerisation, deployment and integration of software applications;

Working alongside project managers, AI engineers/researchers and cybersecurity experts;

Active participation and contributions to Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects;

Editing, authoring and delivery of technical reports and deliverables;

Participation in technical meetings;

Staying up-to-date with the latest network and cybersecurity technologies, tools, and trends.
