ENFORCE Kick-off Meeting

Φεβρουάριος 19, 2026

K3Y Ltd proudly participated in the Kick-Off Meeting of the ENFORCE project, held on 20-21 January 2026 in Athens, Greece and hosted by the project coordinator UBITECH. The meeting marked the official launch of the project, bringing together all consortium partners to align on objectives, governance, collaboration processes, and the 36-month roadmap.

The meeting marked a significant milestone and an exciting start to our journey toward a more secure and resilient future for critical infrastructures. K3Y Ltd, always at the forefront of technology, brought its technical expertise to valuable discussions on AI-based detection and decision services, contributing to the design of advanced security monitoring and analytics mechanisms supporting modern Security Operations and Orchestration Centre platforms.

The first day focused on introducing the consortium and setting the strategic and operational foundations of the project. The Project Officer outlined European Commission expectations, management procedures, and key priorities regarding dissemination and exploitation. Technical sessions concentrated on defining platform requirements, architecture, validation scenarios, and core security mechanisms, including infrastructure assurance, vulnerability monitoring, attack detection, and AI-driven decision-making capabilities.

The second day addressed validation activities across the project’s use cases, as well as communication, standardization, and exploitation planning. Discussions also covered upcoming administrative milestones, plenary scheduling, and the implementation of structured peer-review processes for deliverables.

ENFORCE will adopt a pragmatic, standards-driven approach to strengthening the security of critical infrastructures, with direct applicability to modern Security Orchestration Centre platforms. By leveraging IoT technologies, advanced 5G connectivity, and edge networking, the project will enhance trust, performance, and resilience across highly interconnected environments. ENFORCE will introduce continuous vulnerability assessment, automated runtime updates, and dynamic service function chain interventions, while enabling rapid cyber-attack mitigation through secure Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) migrations. Its open and standardized platform will support coordinated cybersecurity incident management and secure service deployment across national and cross-border infrastructure domains.

Represented by our colleagues Christos Dalamagkas and Zacharenia Lekka, K3Y Ltd actively contributed to the Kick-Off Meeting with a comprehensive presentation of its profile and role within the project. As leader of Task 4.4 under WP4, Κ3Υ outlined the task’s objectives and expected impact, focusing on AI-based detection and decision services. The team also introduced two core tools, presenting their current capabilities and describing how they will be further enhanced and expanded throughout the project’s implementation.

We’re excited to embark on this journey and contribute to strengthening security and resilience across Europe’s critical infrastructures.

Stay tuned for updates as the ENFORCE project progresses.
