K3Y at the European Defence Innovation Days 2025

We are proud to announce that K3Y was selected among hundreds of innovative SMEs and startups across Europe to be one of the final six companies pitching at the prestigious European Defence Innovation Days 2025 (EDID25), organized by the European Defence Agency (EDA) together with the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Represented by our Director of Engineering, Dr. Antonios Sarigiannidis, and our Director of R&D, Dr. Panagiotis Radoglou Grammatikis, K3Y presented its cutting-edge Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) solution, Explainer-X, during a challenging pitching battle in front of Europe’s top defence leaders, innovators, and decision-makers.

Explainer-X is an XAI solution that offers insights into AI models, including those in encrypted domains. It employs advanced XAI techniques to provide model-agnostic explanations for both tabular data and images. Explanations are conveyed through feature importances and visual representations. Explainer-X works with unencrypted and fully homomorphically encrypted data and models.

Explainer-X, developed through K3Y’s R&D work in EU-funded projects, starting with TRUSTEE and now applied in INTACT and TORNADO, showcases our commitment to transforming advanced research into robust, industry-ready solutions.
