UP2030 Istanbul Workshop: Shaping Sustainable Urban Futures

On November 5, 2024, UP2030 hosted an interactive workshop at Istanbul's Gazhane Museum, bringing together 28 participants, including local residents, city stakeholders, and project partners. The event began with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality representatives presenting updates on UP2030, including progress in urban modeling tools like UBEM/UBTEM and innovative solar-powered urban furniture for Kadıköy.

Discussions addressed key urban challenges:

- Climate Change Impacts: Tackling local effects with actionable solutions.
- Community Awareness: Empowering citizens through education on energy efficiency and smart systems.
