K3Y Ltd Showcases CoGNETs Distributed AI Middleware Framework at Horizon Europe Webinar

K3Y Ltd participated in the joint Horizon Europe webinar “Turning Cognitive Computing Continuum Innovation into Value: Key Exploitable Results from Horizon Europe Projects”, hosted by the ENACT project on 24 March 2026.

The webinar brought together several projects from the Cognitive Computing Continuum cluster, including COGNETS, EMPYREAN, ENACT, HYPER-AI, MYRTUS, and SWARMCHESTRATE, focusing on advanced and exploitable research results and their potential for real-world adoption.

Representing the CoGNETs project, our colleague Evangelia Pantraki presented the project’s open distributed middleware framework for autonomous orchestration across the IoT–Edge–Cloud continuum.

The presentation focused on how the framework supports secure, adaptive and scalable deployment of distributed AI services through decentralized coordination, intelligent agents, multi-context brokers and advanced security mechanisms.

The webinar also demonstrated how the CoGNETs architecture can support real-world applications in areas such as manufacturing, mobility and healthcare, where AI services operate across distributed and dynamic environments.
